Daily Overview is a new initiative that shares one satellite image from DigitalGlobe each day, aiming to reshape how we perceive our planet. The project draws inspiration from the Overview Effect—a profound shift in perspective reported by astronauts when they see Earth from space for the first time.
The creators behind the project explain that the striking flatness visible from orbit, the unexpected beauty of large-scale order, and the vivid colors captured from above are meant to spark curiosity and encourage viewers to see the world in a new way.
