My name is Vitaly Medved, an amateur artist from Slavutych, Ukraine. I enjoy painting and drawing in my own way, creating artwork based on what inspires me.
A few months ago, my daughter gave me a small sketchbook with black cardboard pages as a gift, along with a white gel pen. Since then, I’ve become fascinated with drawing on black paper. After filling the entire sketchbook with sketches, I moved on to working on larger A4 sheets.
I’d like to share the results with you. Each piece usually takes about five to six hours to complete, but those hours feel like a form of meditation and pure enjoyment.
